Welcome to Hedge Funds Care Canada!

Unfortunately child abuse knows no borders. Hedge Funds Care Canada was founded in 2004 by M. Corey Goldman as a way to unite the Canadian hedge fund industry in support of HFC’s global mission of treating and preventing child abuse. Corey Goldman now serves as the President of Hedge Funds Care Canada and has been actively involved in the Committee of Hearts since this affiliate's inception.

The Committee of Hearts has enjoyed continued success in raising funds for organizations dedicated to aiding abused and neglected children. Their 8th Annual Open Your Heart to the Children Gala at Ultra Supper Club on November 3, 2011 was a resounding success, receiving much praise from the Toronto community. The event raised over C$250,000, which is the most amount raised in Hedge Funds Care Canada history. Hedge Funds Care Canada would like to thank our event sponsors for their continued support. In 2010, Hedge Funds Care Canada presented Citco Canada with the Award for Caring for their continued commitment to the HFC Canada mission, including their implementation of "Dress Down Days," which in 2010 raised over C$30,000 for Hedge Funds Care Canada. Through the support of local industry professionals, this first Hedge Funds Care affiliate organization has gone on to distribute over CAD$1,116,000 through 40 grants to organizations that carry out the mission of Hedge Funds Care on a daily basis.
