Welcome to the East Coast branch of Hedge Funds Care!

Hedge Funds Care East Coast was the first branch of Hedge Funds Care, founded in 1998 by Rob Davis. To date, Hedge Funds Care East Coast has distributed over $14.5 million through 407 grants. With the continued generous support of the local Hedge Fund community, we look forward to many years of helping our community partners in the fight against child abuse and neglect.

In 2012, the East Coast Committee of Hearts raised $2.2 million at the 14th Annual Open Your Heart to the Children Benefit on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Cipriani 42nd Street. Spearheaded by co-chairs Joseph Fisher, Partner, Deloitte and Jay Peller, Managing Director, Citco Fund Services, the event was a huge success, welcoming nearly 1,000 guests for a sumptuous reception and raising funds for the support of child abuse prevention and treatment. The East Coast Committee of Hope was originally formed in late 2003. The Committee’s inaugural fundraising event was held in June of 2004, and its subsequent events have witnessed spectacular growth in popularity and success. The 2012 Annual Fall Fete was co-chaired by Jill Cohen from Citi and Gillian Tullman from Linden LP. The sold-out event was held at the 40/40 Club on October 3, 2012 and raised over $130,000! The Committee of Hope will once again host the Fall Fete in October 2013, stay tuned for more details.

The East Coast Golf Committee was formed in 2008 to expand the reach of the East Coast branch through a more interactive event! Since its founding, the Tournaments have raised over $500,000! Most recently, the 5th Annual Tournament was held on Monday, July 30, 2012 at Greenwich Country Club and Fairview Country Club in Greenwich, CT and raised over $200,000! The East Coast Young Professionals Committee was relaunched in early 2012 for rising industry leaders under the age of 35. With great success already, the Committee has already hosted a March Madness event and the first ever HFC Hamptons event on July 28th at the Southampton Social Club.
